Nicole Taylor
Co-Founder

A magnetic, natural leader who loves connecting—whether it’s introducing like-minded people to each other, pairing a strong marketing strategy with equally strong creative, or stringing together words and images that compel people to act, it’s what motivates Nicole most.

She’s spent her career in the agency world delivering outsized results for her clients, building award-winning marketing strategies and campaigns for many of the brands you know and love (Procter & Gamble, Google, IBM, Abbvie, Lowe’s, GrubHub). She’s especially passionate about brands that do good in the world.

Nicole earned a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University. She’s won numerous awards throughout her career, including Leo Burnett’s prestigious Star Reacher award, given to the top 1% of employees. She loves gardening, film, and a good Mediterranean diet—indicative of the Renaissance approach she’ll bring to your business.

Neil Taylor
Co-Founder

Neil is a marketer for business leaders who hate marketers. He brings over 20 years of marketing experience and a rare combination of left- and right-brain thinking to every engagement—equally passionate about financial outcomes, business strategy, and analytics as he is about creative, content and positioning.

He has led marketing teams for publicly traded companies Citrix and Brunswick Corporation, as well as tech startups like Visier and ShareFile. He’s also spent time in business development roles, giving him a unique first-hand perspective on sales teams and their needs.

Neil earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University. He enjoys shunning any form of praise or recognition, including skipping his MBA graduation and high school hall of fame induction—so you can be confident you can take credit for any good work Carpentry does.
